Crashed Jan 13, 1935 at Newark NJ (pilot, Louis Reichers), hitting the ground at an estimated speed of 130mph. While the wings and empennage disintegrated into a pile of scrap metal and wood, the fuselage cartwheeled, but remained intact and suffered no fuel leakage or crew injuries, which dramatically spoke for the design's structural integrity.
