1910 Faccioli N.4

Powered by the 50 hp SPA-Faccioli N.3. This opposed-piston engine has eight cylinders, eight pistons, but only four combustion chambers. You can think of the left and right half as being two 20o V-4 which share combustion chambers. There are two crank shafts/propeller drives on the left and right side of the engine. This engine was designed by Aristide Faccioli and built by SPA, Societá Piemontese Automobili.
