Hunting Aircraft evolved from Percival Aircraft Co. Percival Aircraft in 1936 became Percival Aircraft Ltd. Then the company became part of the Hunting Group in 1944, changing its name to Hunting Percival Aircraft in 1954 and finally to Hunting Aircraft in 1957. In 1959 it merged with the Bristol Aeroplane Company, English Electric and Vickers-Armstrongs to form the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC), and now BAE Systems
