1932 Junkers G 38 ce, D-2500, later G-APIS, c/n 3302

This was the second G 38. The first was D-2000 first flown in 1929.

Named General Feldmarschell von Hindenburg.

Outboard engines, 400 hp diesel Junker L8, 6 cylinder

Inboard engines, 600 hp diesel Junker L55, V12

There was a passenger observation in the nose and in the leading edge of the wing between the fuselage and the inboard engines.

Destroyed May 17, 1941 on ground at Athens by RAF bombing raid.
