Powered by a 860 hp V-12 Hispano-Suiza 12Ycrs engine. This engine had an integrated Hispano-Suiza HS.404 20 mm cannon between the cylinder banks, firing through the hollow propeller shaft, which was raised above the crankshaft by reduction gearing.
