1925 Macchi M.33

Two flying examples were built, MM48 and MM49

500 hp Curtiss D-12A. This was a used engine that was in poor condition and was unable to produce the rated output.

The following photo is from the collection of W. A. Carle. Taken at the 1925 Schneider races at Baltimore. This is MM49 it placed third in the race. MM48's engine would not start and was withdrawn.
