1966 Northrop M2-F3, NASA803

Rebuilt from the damaged M2-F2, landing accident on 5/10/67. Bruce Peterson was the pilot at the time of this accident. It flipped over six time and ended upside down. Peterson walked away with only a broken hand bone and skinned head but lost one eye due to an infections. This crash was used in the start of the TV series "The Six Million Dollar Man".

Bill Dana reached a speed of 1064 mph on 12-13-1972. John Manke reached an altitude of 71,500 ft on 12-20-1972.
