1930 Prawn S1576

A small flying boat. Wing span 28 ft. Length 18 ft.

Only one built.

Powered by a 65 Ricardo-Burt engine. Power plant with the prop could be angled up 22 degrees for takeoff and lading.

It is not clear if the Prawn ever flew. One source states..

Reportedly the Prawn never flew because its engine overheated and seized up while taxiing, and no spares were available.
