Bumble Bee I had a wing span of 6 ft 6 in.

Bumble Bee II, N89WS, was built in 1988 with a wing span of 5 ft 6 in. It is recognizes as the world's smallest biplane. Bumble Bee II's first flight was on May 8, 1988. It crashed the same day. It's owner and pilot, Robert Starr, was injured, but fully recovered.
