On Display at the 1939 World's Fair at New York
In the following photo the aircraft in the immediate foreground is a Curtiss SBC-4. Behind it is a North American BT-1.
The aircraft on the ground in the above photo is a mock up of the Curtiss-Wright CW-20T, NC19436. The prototype first flew March 26, 1940. At this time it had twin vertical fins and rudders. The twin fins were replaced by a single vertical fin and it evolved into the C-46.
