Rebuilt by Boeing from a DH-4A. Boeing replaced the plywood covered wood fuselage with a fabric covered welded steel tube airframe.
This particular aircraft appears to be the only one that was given a civil registration initially. Peter Bowers's book identifies this model as "DH-4 Mail".
