The Avro 642/2m was a twin engined version of the tri-motor Avro 642. This one was the prototype 642/2m.

Sold to Midland and Scottish Air Ferries Ltd. Then to Commercial Air Hire Ltd, Croydon Dec 1933. Sold to W. R. Carpenter and Co. Ltd Australia Sept 1936 as VH-UXD for air service in New Guinea. Destroyed by the Japanese in 1942.
