This photo was taken about 1939 by Bill Larkins at Alemeda CA. At that time it was owner by Ross Hadley who used it for airshows and racing.

On June 21, 1976 it was destroyed while taking off at Amarillo TX in a high cross wind, killing the owner Dave Bezner and his wife.
