After the epic flight by Louis Blériot over the Channel he was approached by Selfridges for an exhibition in the Department Store of Selfridges in Oxford Street (London). After quick repairs were made to the machine, it was exhibited for one or two days. The picture was taken by Jas E. Hunt during the closed hours of the exhibition, likely before the openiong. This card could be bought as a memento to visitors.
