There are some differences in the following photo. There is no cowl, the cockpit is a single large opening instead of the two separate cockpits, and the fabric of the fuselage start closer to the front. It is my guess that this is a latter version.
The following photo from Christofferson photo album at the Hiller Aviation Museum show this aircraft with a different engine.
