Originally built as a civilian O-2BS with a Liberty engine for James Dalzell McKee. First singer plane to fly across Canada, Sept 11-19, 1929. Returned to Douglas, made into three seater, switched engine to P&W Wasp. McKee we killed in the crash of a Canadian Vickers Vedette. Canadian Government took over the aircraft. ZG is the last letters in its Canadian registration, G-CYZG.
