Originally to US Navy JRF-6B as 66336. Then to RN in January 1943 as FP514. Back to the US Navy in 1945. Became N95431 Jun 10, 1947 opreated by Bay Vally Air Service. This photo by William T. Larkins Oct 6, 1947 in the San Francisco bay.

To Alaska Airlines in 1968 and converted with two P & W PT6A-20 turboprop engines.

Crashed Aug 12, 1968 in wheels-down water landing.

"...Rebuilt as N72PR Dec 3, 1973. In 1972 it was converted back to the original Pratt and Whitney R-985-AN-1 Wasp Junior radials and served with Kodiak Airways. Sold to Westflight Aviation in 1984, it left the US register in 1987 and became P2-JWB registered to Palau Paradise Air, at Palau, Micronesia, to become RP-C864 at the Philippines in 1990, later VH-MBA in Australia in late 1993 and finally it became DQ-AYL, registered to Yaukuve at the Fiji Islands."
