1931 Hawke Duster Airplane No. 2, NR10626
One of three built by Hawke Dusters of Modesto CA. The other two were NX10609 and NR10627. One of the first aircraft designed as a crop duster or sprayer. The hopper was located at the aircraft's CG. The pilot sat in an open cockpit with good forward visibility. The cockpit entrance is via a large triangular door on the right hand side. The Hawke Dusters worked in California from 1931 to the start of WWII. One was lost in a crash in 1937.
