In 1942 Messerschmitt Bf 108 production was moved to the French aircraft company NORD, aka SNCAN (Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord). The original 266 hp Argus As 10 air-cooled inverted V8 engine was replace with a 240 hp six cylinder inline Renault 6Q-11.
