1932 Percival D.3 Gull Six, G-ADPR, c/n D55

Owned by Jean Batten. In 1936 she set a world record from England to New Zealand. At her birthplace of Rotorua she was honored by local Maori. She was given a chief’s feather cloak and given the title Hine-o-te-Rangi – "Daughter of the Skies".

200 hp DeHavilland Gipsy Six

Impressed 1940 as AX866. Returned to G-ADPR in 1946.
