The FN.333 was manufactured by three different companies. Originally designed by Nardi. Nardi produced three, the prototype, I-KISS, in 1952 and two other in 1954 and 1958. FIAT produced two, I-EUST in 1956 and I-RAIG in 1960. All other were produced by SIAI-Marchetti from 1962 to 1969.
