The SR.45 was powered by ten Bristol Proteus 2. 2500 hp shaft hp plus 820 lbs exhaust thrust each.
SR.45 G-ALUN's first flight was Aug 22, 1952. It was scraped in 1967. One other SR.45, G-ALUO, was never finished.
