155 hp Blackburn Cirrus Major
One for the first aircraft built in Japan after WWII.
Photo at Hibiya Park, Tokyo, Dec 1953 from the collection of C. A. Johnson.
Note: Previous aircraft built by Tachikawa, Tachihi R-52, JA3017, was a similar design originally powered by a 130-hp Shinphu 2 radial. This engine was later replaced with a 140 hp O-290D Lycoming (I think this hp is wrong, should be 125 hp if it is a O-290D).
