Vought-Sikorsky XTBU-1 Sea Wolf prototype. Production aircraft built by Consolidated-Vultee as the TBY Sea Wolf First flight Dec 22, 1941. Damaged in a rough arrested landing trial, and when repaired a month later, was again damaged in a collision with a training aircraft. Delivered to US Navy at NAS Anacostia, DC, Mar 1942.
