1918 Zeppelin-Lindau Rs.IV
Also Known as Dornier Rs.IV
four 245 hp Maybach Mb.IVa driving 10 ft diameter propellers.
Only one build. First flight, Oct 12 1918. During a test flight a hard landing buckled the fuselage. Repaired as a civil transport after the Armistice. Underwent extensive testing during June 1919. It was the first Dornier design to use sponsons. Unfortunately it was scrapped to comply with Allied treaty rules.
