On May 4, 1974, I was flying the Mite back from a fly-in in Northern California. As I was passing over a dirt strip, a crop duster was taking off. As I watched, it went through the fence at the end of the runway, hit a ditch and flipped over. The plane was damaged, but the pilot walked away.
