T-6 mid air Collision Reno, 1996

As my father and I were walking to the air races one morning, two T-6s were involved in a mid air collision at the start of the race. The white plane lost most of one wing. It crashed very near a house, killing the pilot. The red plane landed, missing only a wing tip and a aileron. These photos was taken by my father.
